- bookplates - Labels, usually printed or engraved, frequently with a distinctive design, pasted or tipped into books to mark their ownership or presentation, and sometimes to indicate their location in a library. They are usually attached to the inside of the upper cover.
- bookshelves - Open shelves for holding books; distinct from "bookcases" which generally have several shelves enclosed by doors.
- collectors - Generally, a person who collects specimens, works of art, curiosities.
- prints (visual works) - Pictorial works produced by transferring images by means of a matrix such as a plate, block, or screen, using any of various printing processes. When emphasizing the individual printed image, use "impressions." Avoid the controversial expression "original prints," except in reference to discussions of the expression's use. If prints are neither "reproductive prints" nor "popular prints," use just "prints." With regard to photographs, see "photographic prints"; for types of reproductions of technical drawings and documents, see terms found under "reprographic copies."
- windows - Openings in the wall of a building, serving to admit light, usually to permit vision, and often to admit air.
