Welcome to the Georgetown University Art Collection. More than 21,000 records of individual objects are accessible in this repository. They include predominantly works on paper in addition to paintings, sculpture, and decorative objects. About a third of the records have accompanying images and we are constantly working to add more. Below are some preselected groupings of objects that have been digitized. These do not represent the entire scope of the collections. Please use our search functions to access the complete collection.
Visitors are welcome to view accessible objects from the art collection, with a prior appointment strongly encouraged. Please note that many objects are in storage or in University offices and may not be readily accessible or available. To view or inquire about an object please contact the curators via the link above. More background on the collection may be found on the Art Collection home page.
